LIGHTING
·Place monitor perpendicular to window
·Draw the shades when the sun is bright
MONITOR
·Set monitor 18-22" from forehead
·Set top of screen at eye level.

Documents should be placed on a side-mount or inline copyholder. Wrists straight -- not bent up or deviated to the outside. Knees positioned slightly below the hips. Thighs resting parallel to the floor. Feet should be resting comfortably in front on the floor or footrest. Head should be upright and the chin held level. Shoulders relaxed. Arms resting comfortably at your side. Elbows open slightly more than 90 degrees. Hips at 95-100 degree angle with trunk. Knees resting 2-3 fingers past chair edge.

KEYBOARD
·Set keyboard 1" above thighs or on tabletop back far enough to provide forearm support
·Lowering front edge of keyboard (negative tilt) prevents bending wrists up to type.
BACKREST
·Sit back in your chair!
·Should fit mid-pelvis to mid-shoulder blade
·Lumbar support from top of pelvis to small of back
